A beautiful historic home in the local area, TW Electrical has the fortunate job of re-wiring the house whilst it is still occupied by the family of 4, including two children under 3. This makes the job a little more interesting as we are planning work around time slots and every night before leaving we ensure that floor boards are back down and our working area is tidied up to leave a safe environment for the children.
Revealing the age and history of properties is always a treat. Here, we found the old servants bell pull wire system, looking as good as the day it was fitted back in the late 1800's.

This job had limited access to the roof void and the external walls from inside or outside the building. TW Electrical worked along side other tradesmen (roofers) to drill out, duct, wire, insulate, and install a timed bathroom extractor fan, all in one day, whilst the roof tiles were removed, the roof void insulated and re-felted, and then re-tiled.
